Before Santa inspects the town, we’d like to take the opportunity to wish everyone in the SPRINT Robotics Collaborative a very happy and festive holiday season!
2022 brought many new and renewed opportunities. Revving up the roadshows again, introducing the Robotics Fitness Challenge and hosting the World Conference for Inspection & Maintenance Robotics in Amsterdam were absolute highlights – all with the common theme of seeing each other again in person.
Getting back to face-to-face events and experiencing robotic solutions firsthand has revealed the great leaps made these past years. As robots are reaching a higher level of maturity, we will continue to explore in the coming year how we can best help the industry accept and scale robotic solutions. Solutions that will increase safety and reduce risk in the inspection process, improve the quality of data captured, and reduce costs and resources needed to perform inspections.
What exciting things are in store for 2023? Plenty of activities across all regional chapters, from the Asia-Pacific Summit in Singapore and the KINT/SPRINT Robotics International Symposium in the Netherlands to the World Conference in Houston and the opening of the SPRINT Robotics Latin American Regional Chapter in Brazil. Also on the list for 2023: an updated version of the SPRINT Robotics Roadmap, production of white papers and guidelines, and many opportunities to connect asset owners with robotic solutions such as the roadshows, Robotics Fitness Challenge and themed seminars in the regions.
