The SPRINT Robotics Task Force Power & Energy Transition Webinar brought together Technip Energies and Planys Technologies to showcase how robotics is advancing the inspection and maintenance of critical power and energy assets.
Technip Energies presented its remotely operated robotic solution for maintaining energized overhead power lines, demonstrating how robotics can improve worker safety, reduce operational costs, and minimize service interruptions. Planys Technologies then highlighted its advanced underwater robotic inspection platform for hydropower and dam infrastructure, combining robotics, non-destructive testing (NDT), and digital reporting to deliver safer, faster, and more efficient inspections.
Together, the presentations demonstrated how innovative robotic technologies are helping asset owners improve safety, optimize maintenance, and support more reliable operation of critical power and energy infrastructure.
