Revolutionizing Industrial Painting with Robotics – Join the Movement

A collaborative effort to advance industrial painting solutions!

Join us for the SPRINT Robotics Painting Challenge DEMO DAY on September 16, the qualifying showcase for the Final Painting Challenge. You’ll see robotic solution providers demonstrate their technology and capabilities on the SPRINT Robotics Skid, simulating real-world external painting scenarios. The full day includes a morning of live showcases followed by an afternoon of technical presentations and panel discussions.

Program

Monday, September 15th – Setup Day

• Vendors will be granted access to the PRCI yard (or warehouse in case of bad weather) for system setup.

• Each vendor will be assigned one half of the piping skid to configure their solution.

• Setup activities will proceed as much as safely possible under supervision.

Tuesday, September 16th – Demonstration Day

8:00 AM – Guest Reception

9:00 AM to 10:30 AM – Vendor 1 demonstrates their solution (90 minutes).

10:30 AM to 11:00 AM – Equipment changeover between vendors (Vendor 2 sets up; Vendor 1’s system covered with tarpaulin).

11:00 AM to 12:30 PM – Vendor 2 demonstration.

12:30 PM to 2:00 PM – Lunch served in the warehouse or PRCI office area.

2:00 PM to 4:00/5:00 PM – Event resumes in the PRCI conference room for:

  • ­Presentations
  • ­Guest speakers
  • ­Panel discussions
 

During this time, vendors may begin taking down their systems.

Solution providers with readily deployable technologies are encouraged to demonstrate their existing robotic and automated painting technologies designed for industrial environments, particularly those capable of handling complex pipe geometries.
