Is your robotic solution up for the challenge? Join the Ballast Tank Inspection Challenge in Katy, TX on May 14 – 16, 2024

Ballast tank inspections are integral to the risk management strategies of maritime operators, serving to identify and rectify potential hazards such as structural integrity issues or environmental contamination, thereby reducing the likelihood of incidents or liabilities affecting the vessel, crew, cargo, or environment.

Companies are invited to showcase their robotic technology solutions during a three-day event from May 14 – 16, hosted at Centurion Subsea Services in Katy, Texas. This event offers an opportunity for participants to demonstrate their innovations in inspecting mock ballast tank specimens and receive valuable feedback from various asset owners.

The deadline to express interest is April 18, with a participation fee of $750.

All robotic solutions and service providers are welcome to participate, and interested parties can confirm their involvement by contacting events@sprintrobotics.org.

SPRINT Robotics will provide a work pack and questionnaire to assess suitability for the challenge. Given the limited slots available, prompt action is encouraged to secure participation in this event aimed at advancing safety and efficiency in maritime operations.
